The Green and White Rugby Trust was originally established as the Sneath Fund which was established in 1983. The Sneath Fund was established to honor the memory of Michael W. Sneath, a fellow Barbo who died in December of 1977. His parents, George and Beth Started the Fund from contributions from their families and friends.

With these initial funds the Barbarians established the Sneath Cup Memorial 7s Tournament. This tournament has since grown to encompass the Denver Sevens Tournament, a national gathering that brings together dozens of top teams and hundreds of youth and women’s teams.
